Anil Arora Biography: Anil Arora is the father of Bollywood actress and dancer Malaika Arora. Unfortunately, Mr. Anil Arora committed suicide on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. He reportedly jumped off the sixth floor terrace of his house in Bandra. The incident took place around 9 am and the body was taken to Babu Hospital for post-mortem. At the time of the incident, Malaika was in Pune and was on her way to Mumbai to meet her father.

Cause of Anil Arora Death

According to reports, Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora committed suicide on Wednesday morning (September 11), a day after World Suicide Prevention Day. According to a report by ANI, Anil Arora jumped off the terrace of a building in Bandra, Mumbai at around 9 am this morning.

The reason for the suicide is yet to be known, but Malaika’s father has been rushed to the hospital for an autopsy. Immediately after hearing the news of her father’s death, Malaika’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan rushed to their home to support Malaika during this difficult time.

Who is Anil Arora?

Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, worked in the Indian Merchant Navy. He was a Punjabi Hindu and married Joyce Polycarp, a Malay Christian. They later had two daughters, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora. He was hospitalized last year due to health problems.

Malaika was just 11 when her parents divorced. After the separation, the Arora sisters relocated with their mother from Thane to Chembur. Talking about her turbulent childhood and her parents’ separation, the actress once said in an interview, “My parents’ separation allowed me to see my mother through a new and unique lens. I learnt the value of an unwavering work ethic and waking up every morning and doing whatever it takes to become independent.”
