Mohammed Usman Adamu, professionally known as Magnito, was born on September 15, 1993, in Abuja, he hails from Benue State and belongs to the Idoma ethnic group. Raised by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adamu, Magnito spent his early years in Abuja, where he attended both primary and secondary school. He later pursued higher education at the University of Jos in Plateau State, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Business Management.

Magnito’s love for rap began at the age of 19, inspired by artists like Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and 2Pac. His journey was ignited by a close friend, Philosophy, with whom he formed a rap group called Mic Checkers. During his university years, he recorded his debut track, “Tele Mi,” produced by DaCapo. The financial challenges of funding the N25,000 studio session pushed him to sell his personal belongings, such as his deck, to achieve his dream.
